Founded in 2021, spinoff of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, MinervaSys operates in Modena, Italy, and Munich, Germany, led by senior software architects and researchers and relying on a scientific advisory board composed by renowned professors.
A journey that starts from passion
2020 - The spark
The founders vision is formed. Brainstorming, planning and validation begin.
2021 - The start
The journey officially starts, with a small engineering team between Italy and Germany, and the first customers around the world.
2023 - The making
The first version of Architect is launched at Embedded World, while the engineering services business keeps growing.
2024 - The takeoff
The team keeps doubling yearly, while the third proof-of-concept adoption project with Architect is completed.

- European H2020 programme: ECSEL Joint Undertaking with project AI4CSM (GA 101007326 - 2023-2024), and Chips Joint Undertaking with project Shift2SDV (GA 101194245). Research and innovation in cybersecurity for software-defined-vehicles.
- European and Italian NextGenerationEU programme: CTE-COTO accelerator grant and 5th BI-REX grant with project STaPCIE (coordinators). Research and innovation improve the cybersecurity of critical edge computing.
- Emilia-Romagna region: Startup grants 2023 and 2024 with projects GEYSER and VOOLCANO.
